Christina Hausmann was born in 1953 in Marktredwitz. Since 1973 she lives in Grafenwöhr and worked until the beginning of the year 2000 in the kindergarten Eschenbach. (as children's teacher).

Already in her youth she had been busy in painting. Here she prefered flowers, plants and landscapes. Later she had tried in blocking in historical buildings. Then abstract painting and ordered work followed.

Chistina Hausmann is a self-taught-woman: she had learned all creative technics of paint and her knowledge by intensive study. Her talent is really extraordinary and now she teaches how to paint at University Extension courses for children and interested grown-ups.. Besides she is a member of the "Oberpfälzer Kunstverein".
